Perspective
Castelhano e Ferreira developed Woodversa, a new range of natural wood office partitions, and needed to present it to the market with visual materials that matched the quality of the product. Modima was challenged to create the images for the launch catalogue.
Approach
An office partition needs to convince on two levels simultaneously: the technical and the aesthetic. The sales team needs to show how the product works, and the decision-maker needs to imagine themselves working in that space. Natural wood is not just structure — it is the element that defines the character of the space. That is what we set out to show.
Solution
Before defining an angle, we studied the product its technical characteristics, the way the partitions articulate, open and close, and how natural wood behaves in different light conditions and contexts. Only then did we define the storytelling of each image.
We created two distinct office environments, one more formal and sophisticated, the other more open and contemporary to demonstrate how Woodversa adapts to different work cultures without losing its identity. Each scenario was designed to highlight both the beauty of the space and the functionality of the product: the fluidity of the opening, the detail of the finish, the presence of natural wood as the element that defines the character of the environment.
The catalogue is in preparation for launch with images that convey the potential of the range in a way the sales team can use directly in meetings. Because when a product is well represented, it needs no explanation, it speaks for itself.
